My name is Sara Salili, and I am a registered nurse, educator, and advocate for compassionate health care. I was born during the Iranian revolution and later built my career in Canada, where I have dedicated over two decades to nursing in diverse settings including emergency, intensive care, and cardiac care units.

I hold a Master of Nursing in Leadership and Education from Athabasca University and am currently completing a Master of Health Leadership and Policy in Clinical Education at the University of British Columbia. Alongside my academic work, I have developed a strong passion for mentorship, simulation-based learning, and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence in nursing education.

Throughout my career, I have seen first-hand the struggles patients and families face when dealing with life-threatening illnesses such as leukemia. These experiences shaped my values of transparency, fairness, and ethical leadership, and they continue to inspire me to build initiatives that bring hope and support to vulnerable communities.

Today, my mission is to combine my nursing expertise, leadership training, and deep commitment to equity in order to create change in health care education and patient support systems. Whether through teaching, research, or community advocacy, I strive to empower future nurses, support patients, and foster inclusive environments where care and dignity come first.
